Redhill Tennis Club have taken the plunge and invested in two purpose built Pickleball courts, first image of them to the left. Event format:

OPEN Doubles Round Robin 'league':

Beginners (up to 3.5), Intermediate (3.5-4) and Advanced (4+) both 18+ and 50+, timed games. Each competition playing on 2 courts for up to 3 hours (up to 10 games each player). Regular scoring, ranking by % games won. OPEN in this context means that you are grouped by skill, not by sex. Women's and Men's winners in each category.

Singles Round Robin 'league'/Finals:

Intermediate (up to 3.5) and Advanced (3.5+) no age  restrictions - playing on 2 courts for up to 2.5 hours per competition  probably 6 games per player (TBC, depending on numbers) with a round robin 'league', semi finals and finals. Round Robin games timed. Regular scoring with ranking by % of wins - hopefully different competitions for both sexes.
